Real Estate Market Report as of January 2013

Inventory is low and prices are going up!  Local bank owned and short sale opportunities are diminishing.  Ada County has the lowest number of active listings since February of 2001.  There is not a lot to choose from anymore.  2012 median home prices were at the highest levels over the past few years, and it looks like 2013 prices will surpass those of 2012.  Sales are low despite the great interest rates, but that could be due to a lack of inventory.
